The Lucky Penny Studio is a rental space started by long time friends Michelle Simasko and Claudia O'Brien.
The two share a love of photography, art and creativity.
Michelle and Claudia met when Michelle was teaching preschool to Claudia's daughter, and they had an instant connection.
While looking for studio space to rent, they found a lucky penny outside the door of suite A. If picking up a coin is said to bring luck, surely the same could be true about the treasure that is the space itself! In their years of friendship they have done many things, but nothing as exciting as starting The Lucky Penny Studio!
Michelle
Michelle Simasko is a wonderful, caring person. She loves the creative spark and will follow it wherever it leads. Always trying new things, she does everything from paint to pottery to photography. She is a loving and happy person whose laughter is contagious.
Michelle has a beautiful family that includes her husband and three adult children. They spend as much time as possible together at family dinners or on vacation. Her family has inspired and encouraged her to follow her dreams and will join her in any class or pose in front of her camera.
Claudia
Claudia O’Brien has been the owner and photographer of Claudia O’Brien Photography since 2009. She has a passion for capturing moments and creating art. She started taking photographs as a child, but the love for family photography began when her own children were born. Candid and true moments are her favorites, always wanting the photographs that show real life and love.
Claudia has a wonderfully supportive family that includes her husband and three children. You can see them all over The Lucky Penny Studio, from furniture assembly to modeling.
They are the absolute loves of her life.
